A smaller selection from the homepage — the patterns we are especially drawn to right now.
Save the patterns you’re considering alongside room photos, colours and other ideas, then come back to them as the room takes shape.
Yes. Free UK samples are available from every flooring design, so you can see the colour and vinyl in your own room before you order. The pattern is often reduced to fit the sample square, so use your room proof rather than the sample to judge the final scale. International samples are available too — you only pay the postage.
Yes. Most designs can be changed in colour, pattern scale and direction at no extra cost. Send a paint reference, Pantone or HEX code, a photo or a physical sample and we will match it as closely as the materials allow. Unless you ask for something different, your first proof usually uses the scale shown in the website images.
After you order, we email a digital proof with the pattern direction, scale, room dimensions and panel layout, plus an A4 section to print at 100% and check scale on the floor. Nothing goes into production until you have approved the final proof.
Measure your room at its widest and longest points in centimetres, including alcoves and doorways, then add 5–10 cm as a fitting allowance. Enter the measurements on your chosen design page and complete the order online. For an L-shaped or awkward room, send a simple sketch first and we will help you plan the panels.
No. Your flooring is produced to the dimensions you order, so you only buy what your room needs. There is no minimum flooring order. It arrives as one or more rectangular panels, with final trimming around walls, doorways and fittings done during installation.
Yes. You can adjust the colours, scale, pattern direction or even switch designs before approving the final proof. Once the proof has been approved and production has started, further changes may not be possible.
After you approve your proof, production usually takes around one to two weeks. Delivery is additional — we email tracking when your floor leaves us. Overall timing depends on dispatch and where you are in the UK; many orders arrive in around two weeks from proof approval.
It is 2.6 mm cushioned sheet vinyl with R10 slip resistance — phthalate-free, Allergy UK approved, with around 20% recycled content in the base material. Panels are available up to 2.9 metres wide, and your floor is produced to order in the UK to the dimensions on your approved proof.
Many rooms can be supplied in one piece when one room dimension is no greater than the 2.9-metre panel width. Larger rooms may need two or more panels. Where that happens, we plan the pattern across the floor and include approximately 50 mm of overlap at each join for your fitter to align and trim.
Yes. Patterned sheet vinyl suits normal domestic kitchens, bathrooms, cloakrooms and utility rooms when it is fitted over a clean, flat and dry subfloor. It has R10 slip resistance underfoot, and many smaller rooms can be supplied in one panel with fewer joins. Edges, cuts and any joins still need to be finished properly on site.
The vinyl surface is water-resistant, so it copes with everyday splashes and damp feet in kitchens and bathrooms. It is not a waterproofing system for a wet room or shower construction, and water can reach the subfloor through poorly finished edges, cuts or joins.
Yes, with suitable water-based or electric underfloor heating where the elements are safely covered in the floor structure — not directly beneath the vinyl. Keep the finished floor surface at or below 27°C. Switch the heating off for at least 48 hours before, during and after installation, then bring it back up gradually.
Many rooms can be supplied in one panel, which means fewer joins, but the floor still needs accurate trimming in the room. The subfloor must be clean, flat, solid and completely dry. Unroll the vinyl in the room for at least 24 hours before fitting, then fully adhere it with a solvent-free vinyl adhesive — we recommend Mapei Ultrabond ECO VS90 Plus. For joins, awkward cuts or wet-room-style areas, use an experienced vinyl fitter. Our installation guide covers the full detail.
Vacuum or wipe away dust and grit regularly. Clean with warm water and a non-abrasive multipurpose cleaner using a damp mop or cloth, and a soft-to-medium brush on textured areas if needed. Avoid bleach, solvents, abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, dry cloths, baby wipes and scrubbing hard in one spot. See our installation guides for full cleaning and care advice.
Our patterns are created in Britain. Every floor is produced to order in the UK to your approved dimensions, in your chosen design, colours and pattern scale.
No. Linoleum and vinyl are different materials. Linoleum is traditionally made using ingredients such as linseed oil, while our flooring is cushioned sheet vinyl. People often use “lino” as a general name for flooring supplied on a roll, but the materials and performance are different.
