Bathrooms are practical by nature. The floor can still be the bit that makes the room.
You might already be working around white sanitaryware, existing tiles, wall colour, a vanity and how much floor is actually on show — especially in a cloakroom or en suite where every square metre counts.
Pattern underfoot can lead the room, echo what is already there, or stay quieter so the space still feels open.

Small bathroom? Don’t automatically shrink the idea.
A cloakroom, en suite or compact bathroom can carry more pattern than you might think.
A larger repeat can feel calmer and more graphic; a smaller one adds detail and movement. Softer contrast keeps things quieter, while bolder colour lets the floor lead.
There is no single “correct” pattern — scale, contrast and how much floor you see matter more than room size alone.
From quieter geometrics to stronger colour and bolder repeats, see what catches your eye. Each one opens the full design when you want a closer look.
You might already be working with wall tiles, white sanitaryware, a painted vanity, timber, or brass, black or chrome details. Start with the colours already in the room — or the one you want to bring in.
Sage, olive, teal and forest green can work very differently with white sanitaryware, timber and neutral tiles — from soft and quiet to much more graphic.
From plaster and blush to rose and coral, pink can warm up white sanitaryware or pick up colour already in your tiles and walls.
Checkerboards, herringbones and finer geometrics can give a bathroom structure without adding another colour to the room.
Pattern might be what catches your eye. What matters every day is how the floor feels and behaves in a bathroom.
Up to 2.9m wide means many bathrooms can be supplied in one piece. Larger rooms may need a planned join.
Get the rhythm of tiles, mosaics or geometry without grout lines breaking up the design.
Everyday splashes and damp feet are fine. The surface is water-resistant and easy to live with.
Extra reassurance for wet feet and everyday splashes, with an R10 slip-resistance rating.
The 2.6mm cushioned construction has a little more give than hard ceramic or stone — especially welcome first thing.
Underfloor heating works too, as long as the finished floor surface stays at or below 27°C.

Order to those overall measurements plus 5–10cm. Your fitter makes the final cuts around the bath, toilet, vanity and other fixed fittings on site.

A few practical things worth knowing before you choose.

The surface is water-resistant and designed to cope with normal bathroom splashes and damp feet. It doesn’t replace the waterproofing needed beneath a floor in a wet room or shower area.

There isn’t one scale that is automatically right for a small bathroom. A larger repeat can feel calmer and more graphic; a smaller repeat brings more detail. How much floor is visible, the contrast in the pattern and the rest of the room all matter too. On eligible designs, we can also adjust the scale and show you the result on your proof.
