Have you already got your project underway and pore over ideas from r/vandwellers  #vanlife and #vanlifeliving?
Or (like me), do you spend (too) many hours daydreaming of long journeys spent along perfect roads and nights under starry skies?

If you are a follower of r/vandwellers you’ll have seen so, so many storage options. I’m blown away by castors, rails, shelves and sliders and can’t believe that there are so many clever ways to hide cupboards and cubby holes. Although I do think with some of them, you’ll need a degree in carpentry to get it right!

There’s also the little splashes of colour like tiles and mosaics around washbasins and sinks.

We have our own range of Feature Tiles.  Although perhaps a little too large for some vans, we can produce printed glass splashbacks in virtually any size and can even create printed panels with a design ‘flow’ running from panel to panel along a worktop.
Think sweeping brushstrokes of pattern, colourful blooms, or sprawling leaves running the length of your prep area.
Lay back with a brew and let the outside in!

And just to keep you interested, we’re completely customisable and designed to keep wastage down!

We have a guide here on ordering our vinyl flooring and the way we work means you only purchase the flooring that your campervan needs.
Everything we produce is individually manufactured – it’s how we can change the colours and pattern scale potentially for each and every order.
(Oh, and by the way, we don’t charge any extra to swap out our hues for your own).

Want the design to run across the width instead of the length? No problemo, just let us know when ordering. We can even turn it on the diagonal as discussed in this guide to patterned vinyl flooring to make the space look a little larger.

Whatever the changes you want to make or if your little van has its heart set on one of our patterns, you’ll always receive email proofs to check and approve before production.

Is your plan for the van to keep the conversion of that classic 1970s Transit or Bedford van as close to the era as possible? We can even adapt our patterns to something more purple-y, yellow-y or orange-y to suit your seventies style.

Why use our vinyl flooring in campervans?

The way we work, there is little waste and you don’t need to order some ridiculous width that is too big for your van and will never be used in your project.
Vinyl flooring is durable and when glued down as per our instructions, it will not rip or tear in normal day to day use. We’ve been supplying our flooring using the same processes since 2016 so we would hope it lasts a while longer yet!
We’re completely customisable so there is no need for a second best flooring. You can get what you want, in the pattern you want, topped off in the colours you really want too.

Anyway, find out for yourself.
Under the images on every flooring pattern’s web page, there are sample request boxes. Pop your full address into there and we’ll post out a little square for you to check all is ok for your dream day-van.

So whether it’s a campervan flooring to add a dash of your personality to Martha (and the Vandwellers) or Vicky Voyager or even Obi Van Kenobi, let’s help you create something really special.

There are installation guides here and any questions (no matter how daft they seem) answered – just ping over an email – and under the images on every flooring pattern’s page is a sample request box.
Just pop your name and address into the box and we’ll send out a sample to make sure that our flooring is just perfect for your campervan project.

PS: We do charge postage for samples to be sent outside the UK (those pesky stamps aren’t as cheap as they once were…) and we’ll let you know the cost before sending out.

PPS: Looking for a little more campervan flooring inspiration and ideas? Put the kettle on the stove and spend some time with our posts on herringbone flooring, Gawthorpe textile and pattern collection, and fave floral floorings.

Campervan flooring FAQs:

How do I order my campervan flooring?

Easy as 1-2-3:

  1. Measure the widest width and longest length of your van floor (in cm).

  2. Pop the measurements into the calculator on your favourite pattern’s page.

  3. Add to basket and checkout.

Tip: Add 5–10cm extra to the width and length just in case your space isn’t perfectly square.

Do I have to order a full roll?

Nope! We only produce the flooring your camper actually needs, reducing waste and saving you money.

Can I request a sample first?

Absolutely. Each pattern page has a sample request box – just add your address and we’ll send a free sample square so you can check the quality is right for your van project..

Note: We do have to shrink some of the designs to fit more in the sample squares so the pattern scale may differ from the final design, but you’ll always see proofs before production.

Can I change colours, scale, or pattern direction?

Yes! Want the design larger, smaller, flipped sideways, or even diagonal? We can do that.
Prefer different colours? Send us hex codes, Pantone references, or paint swatches – we’ll get as close as possible.
There’s no extra charge for customisation.

When do I see proofs?

After placing your order, we’ll email:

  • A full-scale digital mock-up showing the design sized to your full space exactly as it would be produced.

  • A 1:1 crop at A4 to print out at 100% to check the pattern scale.

You can request changes until you’re 100% happy – production only begins once you approve the proofs.

Can I change my order?

Yes – until you approve the final proofs, you can swap designs, adjust colours, or tweak the scale at no cost.

How long does production take?

Around 2 weeks from proof approval. We’ll email you when it ships.

How is it delivered?

We use DHL in the UK and internationally with electric delivery vehicles used wherever possible. You’ll get tracking details via email/text.
For overseas orders, shipping costs depend on weight and room size – let us know your dimensions and we’ll confirm before you commit.

How thick is the flooring?

Our flooring base is 2.2mm and, after our production process, the thickness can vary depending on the design up to 2.8mm.
All our flooring is hypo-allergenic, phthalate-free, contains a minimum of 20% recycled content and is R10 anti-slip rated for extra peace of mind.

How do I fit the flooring?

Install like standard sheet vinyl:

How do I clean and look after it?

Use regular multipurpose household cleaners like Method, Flash, or a supermarket multipurpose cleaners and make sure they are diluted if necessary for flooring. Avoid solvents, abrasives, or bleach, which can damage the surface.

What if my van is an unusual shape?

We produce in rectangles or strips (max 2.9m x 20m). If your van’s wider or longer, we’ll create multiple strips that fit together seamlessly.

Where is it made?

Everything we produce is designed and manufactured in Great Britain.

So, whether you’re refreshing a vintage VW or updating your Bedford Rascal, we’ll help you stamp your personality on every mile.
