Terrazzo Vinyl Flooring | Terrazzo-Style Sheet Flooring

Terrazzo Vinyl Flooring

Terrazzo vinyl flooring brings the scattered colour and irregular shapes of traditional terrazzo into a cushioned sheet floor made for everyday rooms. From quiet stone shades to bold colour, it gives a room plenty of detail without relying on a formal repeating tile pattern.

Explore our terrazzo-style flooring designs and choose one just as it is. If you’d prefer a change, most designs can also be adjusted in colour or pattern scale at no extra cost.

Every floor is produced to the dimensions you provide, with panels available up to 2.9 metres wide. Free UK samples are available before you decide.

The terrazzo look, in cushioned sheet vinyl

Our terrazzo flooring is not made from stone or marble. It is a 2.6mm cushioned sheet vinyl, with the terrazzo-inspired design running across the surface of the floor.

That means there are no individual terrazzo pieces to position and no grout lines within the pattern. Your flooring is supplied rolled as a panel, ready for your fitter to trim to the room during installation.

The finished floor has an R10 slip-rated surface, making it a practical choice for everyday spaces including kitchens, bathrooms and utility rooms.

More than one terrazzo look

Soft and neutral

Warm whites, cream, stone and muted grey give terrazzo a quieter character. The scattered pattern adds detail without making the floor the loudest part of the room.

Colourful terrazzo

Pink, blue, green, ochre and mixed-colour fragments create a more expressive floor. The irregular shapes keep stronger colour feeling loose rather than overly structured.

Larger scale

Making the pattern larger gives individual fragments more space and creates a bolder, more graphic floor. A smaller scale produces a finer texture with more movement.

Terrazzo vinyl flooring for kitchens

Terrazzo works particularly well in kitchens because its irregular pattern sits naturally alongside the straighter lines of cabinetry, worktops and appliances.

A pale or neutral terrazzo can add texture beneath timber or painted units, while stronger colours can turn the floor into one of the main features of the room.

Terrazzo vinyl flooring for bathrooms

Bathrooms and cloakrooms are another natural fit. The scattered shapes soften the harder lines of sanitaryware and fittings, while the sheet format keeps the pattern running across the floor without tile grout lines.

Lighter colours can keep a compact bathroom feeling open, while a stronger terrazzo design can give a small cloakroom plenty of character without asking much else of the room.

Hallways, utilities and other everyday spaces

Terrazzo does not have the strong direction of a stripe, checkerboard or many geometric patterns. That makes it useful in hallways, utility rooms and other spaces where you want pattern without pulling the eye strongly in one direction.

It also works naturally alongside timber, plain walls, painted furniture and metal fittings, giving you several colours and shapes to pick up elsewhere in the room if you want to.

Made for your room

Every terrazzo vinyl floor is produced to the room dimensions you provide. Measure the widest and longest points of the room and add around 5–10cm to each dimension for fitting and trimming.

Up to 2.9m wideMany rooms can be supplied in a single panel with fewer joins.

Made to your dimensionsYou order the flooring your room needs rather than a standard roll length.

No minimum orderSmall bathrooms and cloakrooms are just as welcome as larger spaces.

For rooms wider than 2.9 metres, we can produce multiple panels. Around 50mm of additional pattern is included along joining edges so your fitter can align and trim the floor accurately.

Keep the design as it is — or change it

Love one of our terrazzo designs exactly as shown? Keep it that way.

If you’d prefer a different colour palette or pattern scale, most designs can be adjusted at no extra cost. Paint references, Pantone references, HEX codes and other useful colour references can all help us understand what you have in mind.

You’ll receive a room proof showing the final layout and scale before production begins. Colours are reproduced as closely as the flooring material allows.

Terrazzo Vinyl Flooring – FAQs

Does terrazzo vinyl flooring come on a roll?

Yes. Our terrazzo flooring is cushioned sheet vinyl and is supplied rolled rather than as individual tiles. Each floor is produced to the dimensions you provide, with panels available up to 2.9 metres wide.

What is terrazzo sheet vinyl flooring?

Terrazzo sheet vinyl flooring uses a terrazzo-inspired pattern across a continuous vinyl surface rather than individual pieces of stone or tile. Our flooring is 2.6mm cushioned sheet vinyl with an R10 slip-rated surface.

Is terrazzo lino the same as terrazzo vinyl flooring?

Not technically. The word “lino” is often used informally for sheet flooring, but linoleum and vinyl are different materials. Our terrazzo-style flooring is cushioned sheet vinyl, not linoleum.

Is terrazzo vinyl flooring suitable for kitchens?

Yes. Our patterned sheet vinyl is suitable for kitchens when correctly installed over a clean, flat and dry subfloor. It has an R10 slip rating, and the sheet format means there are no grout lines within the terrazzo pattern.

Is terrazzo vinyl flooring suitable for bathrooms?

Yes. It is suitable for bathrooms, cloakrooms and utility rooms when correctly fitted. Panels are available up to 2.9 metres wide, so many smaller rooms can be supplied in one piece.

Does terrazzo vinyl flooring have grout lines?

No. The terrazzo effect forms part of the overall design across the sheet vinyl, so there are no grout lines between the individual fragments.

Can I change the colours in a terrazzo flooring design?

Yes. Most designs can be adjusted in colour at no extra cost. Send us a useful colour reference and we’ll reproduce it as closely as the flooring material allows.

Can the terrazzo pattern be made larger or smaller?

Yes. Most terrazzo designs can be adjusted in scale before production. Your room proof shows the chosen scale before your floor is produced.

What happens if my room is wider than 2.9 metres?

We can produce the floor in more than one panel. Where panels join, we include around 50mm of additional pattern along the joining edges so your fitter can align and trim them accurately.

Can I order a terrazzo vinyl flooring sample?

Yes. Free samples are available to UK customers from each flooring product page, and international samples are available for the cost of postage. Samples show the material, colour and finish, although the pattern scale may differ from the finished floor.
