Practical details

Measuring and panel planning

Measure your room at its widest and longest points in centimetres, then add 5–10 cm to each measurement in case the walls aren’t perfectly square.

Your flooring will be produced as a single square or rectangular piece, or if both dimensions are over 2.9m, more than one panel. For an L-shaped or unusually shaped room, order the full widest width and longest length.

A floor can usually be produced in one piece as long as either its width or length is 2.9 m or less. The other dimension can be longer. Where more than one panel is needed, we add around 5 cm of extra pattern along the joining edges so your fitter can line everything up before trimming it away.

Customising colours and scale

Love it as shown? Order the colours and scale exactly as they are.

Prefer a change? Most designs can be recoloured or resized at no extra cost.

Send us whatever you have — a paint-brand link, Pantone reference, HEX code, photograph or physical sample — and we’ll match it as closely as the materials allow. An exact match cannot be guaranteed because screens, lighting and different materials can all affect how a colour looks.

After ordering, we’ll email a full-room proof and an A4 section to print at 100% and check the pattern scale. We only begin production once you have approved everything.

Changes can be made until you approve your proof. Once approved and production has begun, further changes may not be possible.

Samples

A sample lets you see the vinyl, colour and texture in your own space before ordering.

The pattern may be reduced to fit the sample square, so it may not match the scale shown in your room proof. We can match the sample scale, use the scale shown on the website or adjust it to suit your room — just let us know.

Use the Request a Sample button below the calculator. Samples are free within the UK. For international sample requests, postage is charged separately.

Material and performance

The design is produced on 2.6 mm cushioned sheet vinyl with a lightly textured, R10 slip-rated surface.

It is designed for everyday household rooms, including kitchens, bathrooms, hallways and utility spaces.

Production and delivery

Production usually takes 1–2 weeks after you approve your proof. We’ll email you as soon as your flooring is dispatched, together with its tracking details.

Leave enough time between delivery and fitting so you can unroll and check the flooring before your fitter arrives.

Installation

Before fitting, make sure the floor beneath is clean, flat, solid and completely dry.

Unroll the flooring and let it settle in the room for at least 24 hours. Check the pattern, dimensions and any panels before applying adhesive.

For the best long-term result, fully stick it down using a solvent-free vinyl flooring adhesive. We recommend Mapei Ultrabond ECO VS90 Plus.

Keep foot traffic off the floor for 24 hours. Avoid heavy furniture and do not wash or wet the floor for 72 hours. Always lift heavy or sharp items rather than dragging them.

Underfloor heating

Suitable for water-based underfloor heating and electric systems where the heating elements are safely covered within the floor.

It is not suitable where heating elements sit directly beneath the vinyl.

The floor surface must not exceed 27°C. Switch the heating off at least 48 hours before fitting, keep it off during installation and for 48 hours afterwards, then bring the temperature back up gradually.

Cleaning and care

Vacuum or wipe away dust and grit regularly.

Clean with warm water and a diluted multipurpose or floor cleaner using a damp mop or cloth. For any stubborn areas, use a soft-to-medium bristle brush with warm water and the same cleaning products when needed.
Like most things in the home, it's best to keep to a simple routine regularly rather than leave it months before attempting a rigorous deep clean.

Do not use bleach, solvents, abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, dry cloths, or baby wipes. Always lift furniture and sharp objects rather than dragging them.

Sustainability and indoor air quality

Produced in the UK using phthalate-free vinyl with 20% recycled content.

It has low emissions for good indoor air quality. Full test results and environmental classifications are available in the technical datasheet.
